Dr. Thomas Dodson, Interim Chair of the UW Department of Pediatric Dentistry, has announced the launch of “Department of Pediatric Dentistry Grand Rounds,” a wide-ranging series of bimonthly lectures of great interest to the dental community.
Grand Rounds will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. on the third Friday of alternate months in Room T-473 of the UW Health Sciences Center. The first lecture is scheduled for March 17 and will be given by Dr. Nestor Cohenca on “Avulsion: Current Treatment Protocols and Emerging Concepts.”
The series is free and open to the public. While the lectures will be geared toward the pediatric dental community, they will also be of interest to pre- and post-doctoral dental students, UW dental alumni and other practicing dentists, as well as to physicians who work with children.
Each lecture will be preceded by a light breakfast hosted by pediatric dental faculty.
